Quality Assurance in European University Alliances – Current State and Future Perspectives

One of the key elements in the continuous development of the European Higher Education Area is the strengthening of quality assurance. The IMINQA project (Implementation and Innovation in Quality Assurance through Peer Learning), co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, serves precisely this purpose: to support the implementation of the Bologna Process reforms and the fulfilment of key commitments related to quality assurance.

Within the framework of the project, a dedicated working group focused on the quality assurance of European University Alliances — an initiative launched by the European Union (EU) but not limited to EU countries. The findings provide valuable insights into the current interpretation and practice of internal and external quality assurance within alliances, and also support establishing synergies between quality assurance (QA) and quality enhancement (QE)
